September Is International Prostate Cancer Awareness Month

September is International Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and organisations around the country hold education and fund-raising events to help in the fight against prostate cancer.

Each year in Australia, close to 3,300 men die of prostate cancer - equal to the number of women who die from breast cancer annually - and around 20,000 men are diagnosed.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in Australian for men aged 55 and over. Find out more about the causes, signs, symptoms and treatments of prostate cancer and other prostate problems via the below link:
