Timboon and District Healthcare Service staff and the community played Santa’s little helper this week and made Christmas brighter for our less fortunate families and their children.

Staff and community members collected a tag from the Christmas tree in the foyer and bought a present for the girl / boy they had selected. An extraordinary amount of support and kindness was received.

Steffi Persson, Timboon and District Healthcare’s Social Worker, said that the ‘giving tree’ is an important part of Timboon and District Healthcare’s role in providing support to our community.

The presents were successfully delivered to homes throughout the local area by Steffi Persson and Youth Worker, Natasha Neal.  There we many grateful families and lots of smiling faces” said Ms Persson.

The Giving Tree is one way Timboon and District Healthcare Service can lend a helping hand to local families, and ensure all children in the community can share in the festive spirit.
