DISTINGUISHED ACHIEVEMENT IN ANNUAL REPORTING

At the 60th awards night of the Australasian Reporting Awards held in Sydney last week Timboon & District Healthcare Service were awarded a bronze for their 2009 Annual Report.

The Australasian Reporting Awards is an independent not-for-profit organisation supported by business, community and professional bodies to recognise quality in financial and business reporting.

Many business, government, local government, hospitals and community organisations throughout Australia and New Zealand submit their Annual Reports for assessment against benchmark criteria for quality reporting.

In receiving a Bronze Award CEO Elaine Collins said that “our 2009 Annual Report was judged to have largely met the relevant criteria and provided high quality reporting of events and activities of the Service”. This Award is a significant achievement for a small organisation.
