The Minister for Health, the Hon. Daniel Andrews MP, is currently inviting applications for Board of Management positions on the Timboon & District Healthcare Service Board as part of the annual round of appointments to public health services.
These positions provide an exciting opportunity for suitably qualified and experienced persons to contribute and provide high level advice on the delivery of health care to our community.
Timboon & District Healthcare Service provides a range of acute, aged and community services covering those living in the southern section of Corangamite Shire and adjoining sections of Moyne Shire. Towns included within our service area are Timboon, Cobden, Simpson, Peterborough, Port Campbell and Princetown and, of course, the surrounding districts.
The Board is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the health service within the framework of government policy and ensuring services are efficiently managed, provide high quality care and meet financial and non-financial performance targets.
The Victorian Government is committed to ensuring that government boards and committees reflect the composition of the community. This includes appropriate representation of women, indigenous Victorians, young Victorians and Victoria’s culturally diverse community.
