Aged Care

Aged Care at Timboon & District Healthcare Service is a four (4) bed based service which offers permanent aged care or respite care to the district.

Aged care beds are available (if vacant) for members of the community who are unable to be cared for in their homes due to health or mobility issues, thus requiring 24 hour professional care.

Respite care is a service provided to the district for carers involved with the provision of care to members of the community who require assistance or care with health / mobility issues. This service allows carers to plan holidays or other leave by involving us to provide care to the individual community member for a period of time pre arranged through Barwon Health Carer Respite or Timboon & District Healthcare Service.

NOTE: Fees are payable for both these services and options for payment can be discussed with the healthcare service or the Carelink Centre.

If you would like more information about the permanent aged care beds at Timboon & District Healthcare Service please contact Miss Anne McMeel (Director of Nursing) on (03) 55586000.
