South West Healthcare has released a new branding strategy that portrays a more modern image, consistent with its new facilities and future direction.

Chief Executive Officer John Krygger says it’s timely for the 157-year-old organisation to develop a new image that is contemporary and conveys the organisation’s links with its various campuses and the extended community.

‘The necessity for a new brand became apparent as business units have been added over time, each with its own independent identity,’ he says.

‘The logo was inspired by the DNA chain and it represents the links with our community and various services. The “S” for South West Healthcare is highlighted in the design and the colour green reflects the lush landscape of the South West and reinforces our commitment to environmentally sustainable practices.’

Local marketing firm GenR8 was commissioned to develop the brand with guidance from a group of key stakeholders that has been working on the process for the past four months.

The implementation of the new branding strategy is a significant undertaking. It encompasses all corporate collateral including signage, uniforms and vehicles.
