The $5,000 telly, complete with a DVD/video player, was the Good Friday gift of a generous Warrnambool workplace: the staff and management of Jeremy Rae The Good Guys.
Children’s Ward Unit Manager, Sue Marsh, couldn’t believe her eyes when the surprise arrived. It’s 127 cm wide and picture-perfect.
‘It’s enormous. I just can’t get over the size of it,’ she marvelled. ‘It’ll be great for the kids. They’ll be able to see it from just about anywhere.’
Jeremy Rae says he and his 18 employees wanted to do something special for local kids for Good Friday and that’s how the donation came about.
Photo: Asthma patient Ronan Ludeman was the first to check out the donation. The 22-month-old is the son of Ecklin South’s Chelsea Ludeman and the nephew of SWH Clinical Nurse Specialist, Rebecca Lowe, who’s holding him. Jeremy Rae’s in the background.
