SWH competes in 2012 AUSTRALIAN WHALE BOAT RACING CHAMPIONSHIPS

Come barrack for our two SWH teams: our men’s Stroke Team and our women’s The Allies (see our homepage news story, Stroking the river, for more).
Racing starts on the Hopkins River around 10.30 in the morning with the finals around 3– 4pm (depending on how many teams and heats there are).
Pat Groot, the coach of our men’s team, reckons one of the best vantage points is a table on the outside deck of Proudfoots Boathouse. Make the most of this amazing balcony view by wining and dining, as well.
Team manager Larry Abraham, meantime, will have a SWH marquee on land nearby. And nearby to him will be market stalls and a BBQ.
The day ends around 5. We’d love to see you there.
