on winning the 2013 Victorian Public Healthcare Award for Lifetime Achievement. Watch the video played as he was called to the stage by Health Minister David Davis. For the full story see our News story: Victoria honours Dr Eric Fairbank.
New emergency accommodation centre for patients, their families and carers.
Between 9 am and 8 pm that day a huge range of electrical appliances will be slashed by 20 per cent (this offer excludes advertised lines, game consoles, accessories, asko, apple products & giftcards).
On top of that, The Good Guys will donate 2 percent of all VIP sales from the day to help us raise the $64,000 we need to buy a Cancer Lymph Node Detector for our Warrnambool Base Hospital operating theatres.
Used to detect the spread of breast cancer and melanoma, this high-tech piece of medical equipment identifies potentially cancerous lymph nodes. This spares patients from having to undergo unnecessary radical surgery by enabling surgeons to remove the least amount of tissue necessary to remove all the cancer.
This sophisticated Cancer Lymph Node Detector will replace the model South West Healthcare purchased in 2005 which, impressively, has helped surgeons track the cancer of more than 150 patients.
SO… it’s a great cause for The Good Guys to be supporting!
All you need to do is present the official invitation to receive this special offer. You can pick one up from the receptionist in the foyer of our Warrnambool Base Hospital or email firstname.lastname@example.org
