Tara says the checks are conveniently and confidentially carried out at workplaces.
WorkHealth aims to identify and reduce preventable chronic disease by checking blood pressure, cholesterol and risk of type 2 diabetes among your workers.
Early detection of the risk factors not only means healthier workers but, importantly, it can also lead to reduced absenteeism and increased productivity in your workplace.
Employers’ involvement is voluntary.
During the WorkHealth checks, experienced health professionals visit your workplace to conduct health checks. Each WorkHealth check will take about 15 minutes.
During this time participating workers:
If more than 50 workers participate you will have the option to receive a workplace profile report which provides details on the overall health of your organisation’s workforce. However, individual results will always remain confidential.
