Meals on Wheels - 5289 0600

The service provides 'Meals on Wheels' five days per week for local residents in need of support. Arrangement is through the Homecare office at the Surf Coast Shire.

Acute Care


Lorne Community Hospital has a 4 bed acute care area with 24 hour division one nursing staff and medical support from the Lorne Medical Centre.

 

All rooms overlook the ocean promoting early recovery.

 

Lorne Community Hospital promotes inclusive care and discharge planning.

 

Private respite and Restorative care is available with a multidisplinary team approach to care. Weekly team meetings are held to enhance the patient goal process.

 

Your personal information and feedback will remain strictly confidential. Information you provide us will only be used by the Hospital internally or to contact you, if necessary, to follow up or respond to your query/feedback.

Exercise Groups Available:

Men's exercise group - open to men of vaying fitness, supported by a physiotherapist in the gym. Tuesdays & Fridays at 10am

 

Women's exercise group - open to women of vaying fitness, supported by a physiotherapist in the gym. Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays at 11am

 

Physio Chi - rhymical, gentle exercise based on repetitive flowing movement. Supported by a physiotherapist in the gym. Wednesdays at 9.30am

 

Senior's exercise group - gentle exercise class open to older men and women. Supported by an Allied Health assistant overseen by a Physiotherapist, in the Senior Citizen's. Fridays at 11am
