Corangamarah – Best of all Commercial / Service or Industrial Gardens

At the Colac Otway Shire ‘Home and Garden Awards” held 12 December 2011, Colac Area Health – Corangamarah garden was awarded as the best commercial/service or industrial garden.

Karen Borch, Colac Otway Shire and Melanie Rodger, Horticulturist were judges for the awards.

A photo collage and plants were given to staff and residents who attended as mementos. The photograph collage has been framed and hangs outside the Care Coordinators office.

The judges said that they were impressed that the facility had a cat and chooks and commented how friendly the staff were during their judging round.

This is a great achievement for Corangamarah staff and volunteers that take the time to improve the aged care facility.
