Colac Area Health aims to be a leader in the development and provision of responsive, integrated health care.
With around 500 dedicated employees, our vision is to promote the health and wellbeing of the Colac and district community through the provision of quality acute, aged, residential and community services that are accessible, affordable, flexible and integrated.
As a teaching facility, Colac Area Health annually accommodates more than 100 students from different education providers and disciplines. Staff development facilities include a tutorial room, a simulation room and video-conferencing for outreach education.
Colac Area Health offers an extensive organisational orientation and department induction, along with a comprehensive Employee Assistance Program and Salary Packaging. Our education program focuses on continuing education to all staff categories and includes Midwifery Scholarship Program, Graduate Nurse Program, Allied Health Students and Traineeships across all divisions.
