Balmoral Bush Nursing Centre Manager, Lisa Hutchins, has welcomed advice that the service has received quality accreditation for a further three years.

"It's a much-welcomed result. The Board, our dedicated staff members and our many volunteers have actively contributed to quality development of the service"

Balmoral Bush Nursing Centre delivers a broad range of health and family services providing local access to nursing, medical, aged community care, maternal and child health, childcare and referral services in Balmoral, via service partnerships developed by the Centre.

An external assessment conducted by QICSA and endorsed by the Quality Improvement Council of Australia has determined that the service has met all standards within the Health and Primary Care Services framework.

"The standards are rigorous and for small services with limited resource capacity for quality management it is a terrific result. The community values the service and needs to know that service quality is monitored and assessed ensuring they receive the best care possible within our service scope and budget".
